Ajit Bhawan, a striking red sandstone structure was built for Maharajadhiraj Sir Ajit Singhji the younger brother of Maharaja Umaid Singhji of the Jodhpur state. The palace is characterized with arched windows, carved balconies, cupolas and vibrant Rajput charm. Ajit Bhawan holds the distinction of being the first heritage hotel of India.
