Bal Samand Lake Palace is a 16th century architectural wonder built in red standstone, which stands majestically overlooking 13th century manmade Balsamand lake. Located 12 kms from the airport, 7 kms from the railway station and 5 kms from the bus station this resplendent palace reminds the tourists of the glory of bygone days.

In 1996, Maharaja Gaj Singh II converted the property into a Heritage Holiday Spa and Retreat for tourists. Today, this hotel is operational under Welcome Heritage Group.
