Hotel Karni Bhawan Jodhpur
Karni Bhawan, was a home to the Jagirdars of Sodawas, Bhati Rajputs of the Lunar
dynasty. The stunning red sandstone haveli has been redone to restore its erstwhile royal
charm. The haveli was converted into a heritage hotel in 1984 and offered 12 tasteful
replete with modern amenities. In 1994, the hotel stared offering 31 rooms.
The hotel is 240 kms from the airport, 4 km from the railway station and I km from the
bus stand. The 31 well appointed rooms including art decor suite and regular rooms are
done in ethnic Rajasthani designs. The rooms have attached baths with running hot and cold
water.
