Accommodation in the "Royal Orient Train"
The Orient-Express experience has always been something more than a mere train journey.
Cabins full of comforts, well-furnished can match the deluxe 5 star hotels. Each coupe
generally accommodates two passengers with a maximum of three. There is a well-equipped
attached bath with hot and cold water between two cabins. Two attendants in each salon are
there round the clock. And there's a lot more. There is an emergency first aid kit on
board. Doctor is available on call at the nearest station.
Dining in the "Royal Orient Train"
There are splendid multi-cuisine restaurants, each offering the finest cuisine prepared
on board by the expert chefs. These restaurants serve a mix of Indian, Chinese,
Continental and traditional Gujarati food. Breakfast is served in the lounge or in the
cabin itself. The snacks on the menu can be ordered at any hour of the day in the cabin.
The modern pantry has in store, the vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian snacks along with
hot and cold beverages.
Bar at the "Royal Orient Train"
The bar at the Royal Orient Train has a wine list that will impress even the choosiest
connoisseur. The bar is well stocked with finest of Scotch and Indian malt whiskies and
liquors, wines, rums and vodkas. Beer is also served in the bar, which can be ordered in
the coupe or in the restaurant.
Lounge in the Royal Orient Train
The 14 air-conditioned and splendidly decorated salons have a lounge, to be used for
sitting and recreation. The lounge is fitted with TV and VCR. Each cabin has music channel
speakers, which are played on demand. |
