Jeep Safari in Rajasthan

jeep safari to Rajasthan wildlife Sanctuaries tour

In addition to camel trek, Jeep safari is another popular way to explore exotic Rajasthan. The Jeep Safari is ideal for all age groups and it is a superb way of getting to know the spectacular landscape as well as the forts, palaces and temples of this royal state.

You are likely to come across well-developed roads. So driving will be strenuous one but full of fun, and may often venture into the open countryside. The driver is well versed on the routes, and is adept at four-wheel drive to which he may need to resort on different occasions. Some routes are simply outlined as suggested below:

OPTION # 1

Enjoy discovering some of the wilder parts of Rajasthan with their own natural beauty and charm. Visit small villages and see for yourselves the traditional village life of Rajasthan with its unique history and culture. Undertake a six-day jeep safari originating from Bikaner and halting at overnight camps at Dhumpaliya. Samrau, Jamaniya-ki-Dhani, Jaisalmer town, and Bainsra village. En route, you will spot deer, peacocks, and demoiselle cranes in their hundreds at Kheechan. The last stop will be at the Chabha, where the highway connects with Jodhpur.

OPTION # 2

Discover the mysterious and desert territory of Jaisalmer, remote outpost of Great Indian Desert and you will come to know that it has been undisturbed for centuries. A round trip from Jaisalmer, it includes setting out for Moolsagar, Khuri and Devikot on the first day, and to Lodurva, Sam, Kanoi and Kuldhara on the second, before returning to this desert citadel.

OPTION # 3

A three-day jeep trek starts from Jodhpur via Bhadrajun, Daspan and Sirohi where there is an arrangement for accommodation. The topography is diverse here from sandy tracts to green hills, and the spectacular landscape of the countryside. Tour culminates on the highway connecting with Mount Abu or Udaipur.

OPTION # 4

Get out of Jaipur for a three-day safari beginning past Sanganer airport and including in its range Kanota and Dhola.
